The group exhibition After Smoke and Mirrors, curated by Sara Castelo Branco and featuring Diana Policarpo, opens on 21 March at 7 pm at the Oliva Art Centre, in S. João da Madeira (PT).
Presenting works that cross different geographical, cultural and generational dynamics, After Smoke and Mirrors addresses community, spiritual and mystical practices that seek to connect us to a regenerative potential for social and ecological coexistence. By starting from a non-dominative relationship with our surroundings, this exhibition project summons magic and spirituality as countercultural configurations that potentiate other terms of a more sensitive possibility of existence, action and imagination for the future.
