The Exhibition of the 15th edition of the EDP Foundation New Artists Award presents, at MAAT Central, the proposals of the finalists Alice dos Reis, Evy Jokhova, Francisco Trêpa, Inês Brites, Maja Escher and Sara Chang Yan.

These talented young artists were chosen from over 600 applications by a distinguished jury consisting of Catarina Rosendo (university professor and curator), Luís Silva (Curator and Director of Kunsthalle Lissabon), and Sérgio Mah (Deputy Director of MAAT).

The EDP Foundation New Artists Award is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious honours in the national art scene. With more than two decades of history, the award has played a vital role in charting the careers of successive generations of Portuguese artists.

The award exhibition opens on 9 April at 6 pm at MAAT Central in Lisbon and runs until 08/09/2025.
